What's the difference between WordPress and Blogspot?

I've personally never used Blogspot. I have had years of prior experience with WordPress and never had an issue as it's been great in terms of customization and overall use for the sites I've created. I want to know what's the difference between Blogspot and WordPress? Does WordPress have more customization, plugins and themes?

I think the main differences are that WordPress is far more customizable than Blogspot. With Blogspot, you're very restricted with what you can do as you're not allowed to upload your own plugins and themes (from what I remember). WordPress is just far better overall and allows you to create almost anything ranging from eCommerce to a complete hosting website, while Blogspot is restricted to just a blog.
